Pulse Oximetry Analyser
The Rigel 322 is a highly accurate, portable Pulse Oximetry Analyser using Patented Technology.
With its build-in Probe Analyser, small footprint, compact design and battery-powered operation, the Rigel 322 provides a unique balance between portability and easy-of-use.
The Rigel 322's patented use of Direct Electronic SPO2 simulation provides a highly accurate representation of the human's Oxygen Saturation level. With more than 13 preset R-curve available, the Rigel 322 proves to be a universal tool for those involved in testing the correct use of SPO2 monitors.
The large graphic display provides an instant and unambiguous picture of the continuity and quality of SPO2 probes.

R-Curves (Red/IR Ratio)
R-Curves specify the relationship between the Red/IR ratio measured by pulse oximeters and the SpO2 value displayed. R-curves are obtained by each pulse oximeter manufacturer during clinical trials. CalLong - decreasing SpO2 and increasing Pulse Rate at 30 second intervals
FullSwp - tests every SpO2 point between 60 and 100 at 21 second intervals

Automatic Data-Logging & Printing
Closed-loop testing of pulse oximeters can be achieved by connecting a cable between the "SERIAL COMM" port of the oximeter and the "RS-232" port of the Rigel 322. Oximeter test results are automatically retrieved and displayed on the Rigel 322screen; the test results can be printed immediately or stored for future printing.

Stored Printing
Stored Printing allows the user to save test results for printing at a later time or up-loading into popular equipment management programs such as Otis¨/Profile¨ and medTester/Sentinel.
Remote Control
The Rigel 322can be operated via remote control through its RS-232 port. In addition to duplicating all front panel operations, remote control commands include status query commands, a keypad lock command and a "warm-boot" command.
