Tests performed by the Rigel 266 plus

The Rigel 266 plus can perform both fully manual tests and semi automatic tests.

In the semi automatic test mode, the Single Fault conditions are performed automatically for each selected leakage test.

In the Manual mode, the user can select the Single Fault Conditions manually whilst testing the device to minimise the number of power breaks.

The Rigel 266 plus has pre-programmed limits for:

• IEC 60601 - 1B
• IEC 60601 - 1Bf
• IEC 60601 - 1Cf
• IEC 60601 - 2B
• IEC 60601 - 2Bf
• IEC 60601 - 2Cf

The Rigel 266 plus can perform:

• Earth Leakage
• Enclosure Leakage
• Patient Leakage
• Patient Auxiliary Leakage
• Patient F-type Leakage
• Patient SIP / SOP Leakage (mains on communication ports)

The Rigel 266 plus is the only hand-held medical safety tester to provide a full 25A earthbond test as required by ICEC 60601-1. In addition, the unit offers a 1Amp and 10Amp test current to meet local requirements.

Finally, the Rigel 266 plus provides a 500VDC insulation test for the EUT / DUT or for the Applied Parts to Earth test. A dedicated IEC lead socket allows fast testing of medical grade power cables with an IEC connector.
